Roundup at the State Corral: A Wild First Season
The dust has settled on our first-ever Vex season, and our four teams rode back from the State Championship with plenty of stories to tell. It wasn’t all easy riding—we faced some tough trails and even a robot that decided to buck the queueing table—but our students stayed in the saddle and showed true grit.
Stampede 3630 Charges Through Technical Hurdles to Secure Alliance Selection and Awards at Week 1 Regional
Breck School’s FIRST Robotics Competition team, Team 3630 (Stampede), demonstrated remarkable resilience and strategic prowess at the 2026 Lake Superior Regional. Despite a series of significant technical challenges, the team secured a spot in the playoff rounds and took home two of the most distinguished individual and team honors of the competition.
Great Northern Regional Competition
Last weekend, the Stampede packed their bags and headed to Grand Forks, ND for the Great Northern Regional competition. We had a great time competing and working on the robot.
FLL University Of Minnesota Morris Sustainability Trip
Last Wednesday, Breck’s FLL team visited the University Of Minnesota Morris to check out their sustainability practices and learn more about clean energy. UMN Morris is committed to achieving carbon neutrality so they had many inspiring initiatives in place.
EMCC Pre Season Competition
This Saturday, Breck Stampede headed over to East Ridge High School to participate in a day of scrimmages and competitions.
CPY Carnival
On September 10th, a few Stampede team members went to a carnival for CPY (Community Partners with Youth) to demo our 2021/2022 robot.
Minnesota State Championship
After returning from the FIRST Championship, Stampede took on one more competition for the season. Throughout 8 qualification matches, Stampede lost only one, placing us as the 1st seed alliance captain.
