Each week, we work with 5th grade students at Meadow Lake Elementary school to learn about and build lego robots. Through hands-on exploration, students learn about robotics concepts such as durability and rigidity, gear ratios, speed vs. power, and block coding while also developing their teamwork and problem-solving skills. Our time with students culminates in a battle-bots style robot building challenge, bringing everything that they learned throughout the year full-circle.
